A native of Alagoas, Aloo Telecom launches campaign extolling the grit and determination of local people

Maceió, August 26, 2016 – One of the largest telecommunications companies in the Northeast of Brazil, this Sunday Aloo Telecom launches a campaign to find inspirational stories from local people. Intended to share stories that boost the image of local people in Alagoas state, the campaign positions Aloo as a genuine Alagoas company that is nationally important. The company is in 14 states and has a network of 25,000 km of fiber optic cable that connects the North, Northeast, Center-West and Southeast.
“We believe that the satisfaction of our more than 3,000 clients, including the largest companies in the region, is due to the grit and determination of our people and our employees, as well as our technology, represented by the fiber optic network we operate. We want to show people from Alagoas that there are reasons to be proud of this company that was founded here and has grown in a market traditionally dominated by multinational giants,” says Felipe Cansanção, CEO of Aloo Telecom.
The campaign invites people to share their stories of strength and courage via the Aloo website. The best three stories will win prizes. Narrated by Alagoas native Paul Poeta, radio and TV items allude to Aloo, which was founded in 2003 as an Internet provider in Maceió and is now present in 102 municipalities in the state, in addition to developing communications solutions for clients such as Fiat and CHESF, as well as companies in the hotel and sugar and ethanol sectors, among others, which are among the largest employers in the region.
The campaign was presented today at a breakfast for the company’s employees as of Sunday it will be advertised in local media – TV, radio, newspapers and online.
